I had an understanding of what triggers caused symptoms and fatigue prior to meeting Lucy, but couldn’t find a way to connect or work with those triggers. Lucy helped me find different ways to interact with my triggers that I would not have thought of on my own. I now see that 1 trigger was often many parts of my brain working against each other. I’ve been able to find deep appreciation for all these parts – as well as have a better understanding when I need to calm some parts or ask them to step down for a moment. It gives me a more wholistic picture of what affects my nervous system.
I struggled with Long Covid symptoms for almost a year, the worst being fatigue. While I had been using mind-body techniques since the beginning, I got to a place where my progress was plateauing. Lucy got me back to healing.
I’ve been able to return to work full time. I also have a better-balanced life that brings me happiness.
With Lucy’s help, I was able to let go of the fear of fatigue crashes that would unexpectedly put me in bed for days, weeks, and in some cases a month. We slowly worked on the different aspects of why fatigue crashes can be so scary to different parts of the brain and how to calm and reassure those parts. It gave me a sense of peace within my own body that I tried so hard to find on my own but could not. The first week nothing changed, but within a few weeks, my major flare ups/crashes stopped coming, and the flare ups overall lessened. I’ve been 2 months now without any major flare ups.
Knowing Lucy has gone through the same journey as me was invaluable. Many people, including those in the medical world, don’t always understand what fatigue is like and can give poor advice. There was a deep sense of comfort with a coach who knows the same challenges and can help you progress from a place of safety.

My sessions with Lucy have been a puzzle piece on my journey to recovery from ME/CFS so far, having had a significant and positive impact. The Parts work really resonated with me and has allowed me to explore the relationship between symptoms and emotions, and see both from a different perspective. I now feel more like a curious, objective observer towards symptoms; they have less power over me. I feel a greater sense of safety within my body and I now have a firmer belief that I can and will fully recover, something that has been a huge challenge to maintain during my time with the illness.
I would highly recommend sessions with Lucy to anyone struggling with any mind-body condition as I think anyone could benefit from them. The approach has been life changing for many people. Lucy delivered the sessions in a way that made me feel really calm and at ease. She asked me thought-provoking questions and gave me tools to continue self exploration beyond the sessions.
Since my sessions, I have noticed an overall increase in my capacity and decrease in symptoms. My daily experience with ME/CFS still fluctuates but I have a newfound confidence in how to address my body’s messages and how to move forwards with recovery.
